A Guide to Traceability within the Fishery Industry

Traceability of products throughout the supply chain is now an important and mandatory aspect of company operations in what is a global market for fishery and seafood products.

In this publication, the requirements of traceability systems are presented, toghether with examples from the supply chain of different methods available to ensure product traceability and a structured approach to developing the necessary documentation.
It is hoped that this guide will assist companies in understanding and implementing traceability within the fisheries industry.
